There’s not many artists around who bring the calibre of individuality and uniqueness that James Massiah does. A poet, DJ, all-round creative force, he’s become one of the London underground scene’s most prolific figures, and a key intersection between music and fashion. His May-shared EP, “Bounty Law”, hit new artistic heights, as he continues to solidify himself as a frontrunner across different medians.
Massiah will be performing this coming Sunday (3rd August) at Jazz Cafe Festival. The celebrated London venue will be heading to Burgess Park for the second annual outing, with Massiah performing alongside some heavy hitters in alt and underground rap, soul and R&B — from Masego to Lexa Gates, Westside Gunn to Raf Saperra.
