Adorned with a nostalgic, glimmering instrumental arrangement, “Spinning” is a bold and electrifying addition to the ever-evolving Pool Girl discography. Few artists can claim that their third track exudes such confidence, charisma, and lavish production. From the opening notes to Pool Girl’s impressive display of her versatile vocal range, paired with the infectious guitar riffs that emerge as the song develops, “Spinning” is an exceptional indie gem that firmly establishes this rising talent as one to watch for the rest of the year.
Speaking on the track’s creative inception, Pool Girl shares, “This track was written when I first moved to Los Angeles. Everything felt new and exciting — so this song is really about the feeling when you meet someone for the first time and the anticipation of what could come from that. It’s also a special track to me because it’s the first song I learned how to produce on.”
