Ahead of her biggest headline show to date at London’s Gunnersbury Park today (16th August), dance music phenomena Peggy Gou shares a euphoria, woozy and rapturous new cut. “Find My Way” is full of heady grooves, ear worm synth inflections and progressive percussion, with Gou’s hypnotic vocal suitably swooning at the apex of it all. The new cut drops as part of COKE STUDIO™ 2024, with the song premiered exclusively to fans at a recent COKE STUDIO: LIVE event in Puglia, Italy on August 15th.

The legendary Joy Orbison is up to their old tricks, pulling A-star names like rabbits out of a hat. Fred Again.. is recruited for remix production duties, whilst US rap heavyweights Playboi Carti, Future and Lil Yachty are all involved vocally. It’s a quite insane link up that shows the totemic presence that Orbison now holds in the electronic space and beyond.
Hope Tala – “Thank Goodness”
West London’s neo-soul riser continues her impressive run of singles with another colourful and cascading cut, “Thank Goodness”. With a voice that melts like butter, ever sharpening songwriting sensibilities, and some of the smoothest production you’ll hear, really all we can do is thank goodness for this sublime new one.
Bonobo – “Expander”
Gifting us with some fresh club rhythms, Bonobo returns with the gloriously off-kilter, somewhat spooky, and all-the-way anthemic “Expander”. The classic vocal sample and dusty woodwind dazzle amidst the glitchy percussion and booming synth bass, a juxtaposing soundscape that twists, turns, and is emphatically engrossing.
Lola Young – “Flicker of Light”
High-flying South London singer-songwriter Lola Young is making monumental movements this year. Back already after her fantastic June-released record This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway, she shares “Flicker of Light”, a punk-infused outing brimming with attitude and acumen, flaunting Young’s ever evolving artistry that shows no sign of slowing down in its progression.
DEADLETTER – “More Heat!”
Potent post-punk outfit DEADLETTER are gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated debut album, Hysterical Strength, on 13th September. The latest teaser “More Heat!” is an idiosyncratic, distorted trip into anxiety and theatrics, singer Zac Lawrence’s semi spoken-word inflections cower atop the sparse and captivating soundscape.
Del Water Gap – “Purple Teeth, The Bravery”
Intimate and imitable, Del Water Gap is back with more emotionally-resonant goodness following the release of his fantastic sophomore I Miss You + I Haven’t Left Yet. He’s announced a deluxe edition of the record, and shared a quietly anthemic new single, “Purple Teeth, The Bravery”, a cut with the kind of hook that boils your feelings into they devour you whole.
Kali Uchis – ORQUÍDEAS Parte 2
Grammy-winning global icon Kali Uchis released her first Spanish-language album, ORQUÍDEAS, earlier this year – this one of the annum’s best. She has now further blessed us with the release of a deluxe edition, containing four new tracks including a marvellous KAYTRANADA remix of “Young Rich & In Love”.
Coco Jones – “Sweep It Up”
R&B’s new superstar and Grammy winner Coco Jones is back with another certified bop, “Sweep It Up’. Gorgeous vocally, dreamy and endoscopic sonically, it’s a well-crafted and modern-feeling effort, further bolstering Jones’ small but impressive discography.
Humble The Great – “find your own”
Producer and emerging artist Humble The Great is expanding his sonic universe with each passing cut. This latest is a country-meets-R&B indie pop ballad, boasting a soaring hook and decadent instrumental work.
The Linda Lindas – “Yo Me Estreso”
LA’s viral rock four-piece The Linda Lindas continue to build hype for their forthcoming album, No Obligation. They’ve dropped a new single, “Yo Me Estreso”, backed with a delightful circus influenced visual accompaniment, and full of striking melodic and production choices. Hell, even “Weird Al” Yankovich pops in for an accordion solo. Lot of fun this one.

Quinn Oulton ft. Rich – “When You’re Near”
Rising producer and songwriter Quinn Oulton’s expansive R&B sound just keeps exploring. The talent links up with LA artist Rich for “When You’re Near”, a warm, rich and heartfelt love song that is classy, well-crafted and brilliantly performed.
BNXN (Benson) – “Phenomena”
Taking a break from his ceaseless collaborations, Afro-fusion frontrunner Bnxn shares a brand new single, “Phenomena”, an anthemic and celebratory gem. Produced by Malawian-South African producer Gemini Major, it’s yet another hit from the artist who boasts Dave, Burna Boy, Headie One and many more amongst his collaborators.
Reuben Aziz ft. wolfacejoeyy – “day+night”
London’s rising R&B artist Reuben Aziz strikes again. This time with UK to US link up with Sexy Drill pioneer Wolfacejoeyy for a Pop-influenced heater, “day+night”. The accompanying video – shot by Will Norman – merges Sci-fi and VFX scenes with an expert blend of performance and cinematic highlights of both artists. As Reuben continues to push the boundaries of his sound, we are told that there is a debut project on the way that is due to put his name out on the most significant scale to date.
Amahla – “Money”
Effervescent and endearing, the new single from Hackney singer-songwriter Amahla is an effortless blend of jazz, pop and R&B. “Money” is full of gorgeous cadence, personable songwriting and infectious grooves.
Déyyess – “Claire”
Looking for a slice of picturesque indie pop? Dive into this sweet treat from Déyyess! “Claire” is dreamy and nostalgia-tinged, driven by soft, sultry vocals and forward-thinking production.
Latto – Sugar Honey Iced Tea
Quickly becoming one of the hottest rappers in the States, Latto shares perhaps her most succinct artistic manifesto to date with this new project. Sugar Honey Iced Tea is as eclectic and mature as we’ve heard Latto, showing impressive flow and lyrical depth throughout the album.
Brodie & Skepsis “Double Vision”
A electronic collaboration to call home about, UK bass savant Skepsis links up with rising Dnb singer-songwriter Brodie for a slick party anthem “Double Vision”. The pair’s respective sounds merge effortlessly for this striking and heavy-hitting number.
Juls ft. Masego – “Perspective”
Juls’ collaboration run just keeps getting better. Boasting recent link ups with Odeal and JayO to his name, the Grammy-nominated Afrobeats trailblazer adds incredible polymath Masego to his sonic arsenal on “Perspective”. Rich, colourful and vivacious, this one does not disappoint.

With a 12-track project dropping next month, hotly-tipped UK rapper Arz has shared a final teasing single “Age Like Wine”. Unafraid to show vulnerability, the artist flows acutely atop the slick production.
MadStarBase Ft. David Marston – “Element”
MadStarBase, consisting of Anant Ahuja and Neal Sekhri, have made a significant mark on the Indian music scene over the past few years, making waves primarily with their Mollywood brand (remixes of iconic and popular silver-era retro Bollywood and desi tracks) of which they have three series so far.
